# Pre set phrases

Dear MCR,

I understand you’re hoping to use **custom voice messages or preset phrases** on your Aosu camera. While there isn’t currently an in-app feature to upload or record your own phrases, there are a couple of possible **workarounds** depending on how you’re using the camera:

**1. Two-Way Audio (Live Talk)**

If you’re actively monitoring and get a motion alert, you can **use the built-in two-way talk** to say anything in real-time. It’s not automatic, but it gives you full control over the message.

**2. Smart Home Automation (Advanced Option)**

If you’re using **Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant** , or a **Home Assistant setup** :

- You could create **routines or automations** triggered by motion or doorbell press.
- These routines could use a **smart speaker** (like an Echo Dot) to play a **custom audio clip** or announcement in response.

> For example:  
> “If Aosu detects motion → Alexa says: ‘Hi, we’re not home right now. Please leave the package by the gate.’”

This doesn’t change the message from the camera itself but offers a creative way to **simulate custom voice responses**.
