Replacement homebase H1L

My original homebase failed. OASU customer service provided me with a replacement homebase.
To set up the second, replacement home base with the existing outdoor mounted cameras do I need to physically take down my outside mounted cameras, bring them inside next to my modem and homebase (basically asking Do I have to start the process all over again?) or can I just install the home base without removing and bringing back inside the outside previously mounted cameras?

:white_check_mark: What you can do:

  • Install and power up the replacement HomeBase near your router/modem.
  • Pair the cameras to the new HomeBase without physically removing them, as long as they are within range of the new HomeBase during setup.

:warning: Important notes:

  • During the initial pairing, the cameras need to be within wireless range of the new HomeBase. If your cameras are mounted far away (especially if they were set up with the original HomeBase in a different location), they might not connect unless brought temporarily closer.
  • If the cameras fail to sync from their current position, then yes — you may have to take them down temporarily just to re-pair them with the new HomeBase, and then remount them.
