Adding a camera to a two camera system

Last year I installed a solar powered 2 camera system. SolarCam Pro Model C7P2BH11-2H with Wi-Fi HomeCortex Model: H1L Works well.

I just purchased (From Amazon) an add on solar powered camera. SolarCam Pro Model C7P2BH11.

Can someone give me instructions on how to set up (add the camera to the system. According to what I’ve read, the HomeCortex should handle 3-4 cameras.

:white_check_mark: Before You Start

Make sure:

  • Your aosuBase H1L is powered on and connected to Wi-Fi.
  • Your new camera is fully charged or placed under sunlight.
  • The aosu app is updated to the latest version.

:mobile_phone_with_arrow: Steps to Add the New Camera

  1. Open the aosu App on your smartphone.
  2. Tap the “+” button (usually at the top-right corner) to add a new device.
  3. Choose “Add Camera” → then select your model (SolarCam Pro / C7P2BH11).
  4. Choose “Add to aosuBase” when prompted.
  5. Select your existing aosuBase (H1L) from the list.
  6. Press and hold the Sync button on your new camera for 3–5 seconds until it beeps or flashes (depending on model).
  7. Wait for the app to pair the camera with the aosuBase (may take up to 1 minute).
  8. Name the camera, assign it to a location (e.g., “Backyard”), and you’re done!

:warning: Troubleshooting Tips

  • If pairing fails:
    • Try bringing the camera closer to the aosuBase.
    • Restart the app and retry the sync process.
    • Make sure the camera is **not already paired with another aosuBase ** — reset it if needed (usually holding the sync button for ~10 seconds).

If the new camera won’t connect, you can reset it:

  1. Hold the Sync button on the camera for 10–15 seconds until you hear a reset tone.
  2. Wait for the camera to reboot.
  3. Try the pairing steps again.
