My friend bought an Aosu multi cam kit from Amazon and I helped them install it. I’d wanted security at my home for a few years but the process of selecting among the myriad choices was positively daunting.
Their criteria was very similar to mine; high quality at a reasonable price, no monthly charges, solar if possible as not all locations are convenient for hardwiring, easy installation.
The first thing I noticed was the robust mounting plates. Very easy to install and set up. The app is intuitive and never hangs up. The video quality was way better than expected. The audio that the cameras pick up is remarkably better than the expensive system another friend has. The video quality is also considerably better, yet his still costs him a monthly charge. Granted, this technology has improved significantly over the past few years but these are far better and simultaneously far less expensive than I expected.
I bought 3 Classic Solar Cams and an indoor cam separately so mine did not include the undefined, which is apparently where the events are usually stored. No problem, I just bought some 128gb MicroSD cards for about $11 each and I was good to go.
I was so impressed with my system that I was gloating at work to a friend and he naturally asked for links to exactly what I bought. So I see another install in my near future.
Battery performance left something to be desired on my front cam initially but it’s because it sees so much activity as I’m close to a busy sidewalk. I easily remedied that by changing the default view. Now, unless it’s been cloudy for multiple days, it stays at 100 percent.
I’m a happy customer and a proud advocate for this particular brand. It’s far exceeded my high expectations. Thank you, sincerely for producing such a well thought out and engineered product.
