I live in a rural area without full time internet, can this system be setup on a home network without internet access?

If your location does not have any Wi-Fi or internet access at all, the SolarCam Max System will have limited functionality. The system requires a Wi-Fi connection to set up, access the live feed, receive alerts, and use cloud storage. Without Wi-Fi, you won’t be able to use the Aosu app or remote features.

However, if you install a microSD card, the camera can still record motion events locally. You’ll need to remove the SD card and view the footage on a computer or compatible device.

Another work around I can think of is this.
Portable Wi-Fi Router (No Internet Needed):

You can use a mobile or travel router (like TP-Link TL-WR902AC) to create a local Wi-Fi network.

Connect the Aosu camera and your phone to this Wi-Fi network.

This lets you access the camera locally through the Aosu app without needing internet.

Both the camera and homebase need to be connected to wifi to be used.
In this way, our intelligent analysis and other functions can make the security effect more timely and effective.

Thank you for the help, this is the information I need. I have a WiFi router and internet is available but it just isn’t connected to the network full time. I can connect to the internet for setup purposes.
