How to format the SD card?

To format using the app, Click on the camera’s Setting-About Device-Format SD card.

“format SD card” does not show as an option in my app under “about device”.

First, confirm your device type:

  1. For standalone cameras without a base station, you can set this up in the app’s “About Device” > “Format SD card.”
  2. For camera kit users, the camera is typically stored on the homebase, so this option isn’t available.
