Micro SD card playback

Is there a special software needed to view the video stored on the micro SD card? What format is the video recorded with?

For aosu cameras, no special software is required to view the video stored on the micro SD card. The video is typically recorded in MP4 format, which is widely supported by most media players.

To view the videos:

  1. Remove the micro SD card from the camera.
  2. Insert the SD card into your computer or use an SD card reader if your computer lacks a built-in slot.
  3. Open the file explorer to access the video files and play them with a media player.

Thank you for your response.

Hello everyone, I have recently and for the first time tried to read the videos on my cameras SD cards, but I cannot open the files. Both cards have 128 GB memory, but the files are called for ex. “0010.media” and they do not open. They are no larger than 600 ko in size, so they cannot be videos (which are larger usually). They are no mp4 files to be found. What did I do wrong ? Thanks for your help ! Richard

I am trying to view the videos on the SD card but they are .media files, not MP4. When I look into it further, they appear to be BIN files. Not all of the videos are available through my phone. There are several that I can’t see. Please let me know what I can do to see these missing videos. Every app I have tried says they dont recognize the file type. Help!!!

Hi there. The video encoding technology currently used by Aosu is not compatible with some older mobile phone systems, so it cannot be played using the system’s built-in player. We recommend installing and using third-party players. The specific recommended players are VLC Player and MX Player.
