What computer program will play back the video from the memory card?

Video doorbell camera memory - OK I got a memory card and it works, but when I try to play it on my computer it will not support the file type. Even the JPGs will not play, I would like to understand what I need to do to get the file to play well with others.

For your data security, the video files are encrypted, so they can’t be read directly on a computer. You’ll need to download the videos from the aosu App first, and then transfer them to other devices from there.

Thank you for the information. I wish I had known that beforehand. I would not have needed to buy the two large SD cards I purchased for permenent storage.

If I take the card out for storage can I put it back in and download a video later?

Hi Mark,

Thank you for your understanding.

To answer your question: yes, as long as the recorded videos on the SD card have not been overwritten, you should be able to insert the card back later and access/download the videos through the app.

Please note that the SD card uses loop recording. If the card becomes full and the device continues recording, older videos may be automatically overwritten.

Thank you again for reaching out.
