I understand you’re hoping to use custom voice messages or preset phrases on your Aosu camera. While there isn’t currently an in-app feature to upload or record your own phrases, there are a couple of possible workarounds depending on how you’re using the camera:
1. Two-Way Audio (Live Talk)
If you’re actively monitoring and get a motion alert, you can use the built-in two-way talk to say anything in real-time. It’s not automatic, but it gives you full control over the message.
2. Smart Home Automation (Advanced Option)
If you’re using Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or a Home Assistant setup:
- You could create routines or automations triggered by motion or doorbell press.
- These routines could use a smart speaker (like an Echo Dot) to play a custom audio clip or announcement in response.
For example:
“If Aosu detects motion → Alexa says: ‘Hi, we’re not home right now. Please leave the package by the gate.’”
This doesn’t change the message from the camera itself but offers a creative way to simulate custom voice responses.
