1. Turn Off Alarm in All Security Modes

  • Aosu App → Home > Security Mode > Away Mode / Home Mode

  • Ensure Siren and Flashing Light are OFF for each camera under both modes.

:counterclockwise_arrows_button: Do this for Disarmed Mode as well — sometimes it has separate settings.

2. Turn Off Per-Camera Alarm Settings

Some camera models retain local alarm behavior even when system modes are off.

  • Aosu App → Devices > [Select Camera] > Settings > Alarm Settings

  • Turn OFF:

    • Siren

    • Flashing Light

    • Warning Sound

    • Active Deterrence (if available)

Repeat this for each of the 4 cameras.

3. Disable Automation Triggers

There may be automation rules triggering the alarm regardless of your mode settings.

  • Aosu App → More > Automation

  • Look for any rules like:

    • “If motion is detected → trigger audiovisual alarm”
  • Delete or disable these automation rules.

:bell: A bug in automation may cause rules to apply even when modes say “off”.

4. Update Firmware

Outdated firmware might ignore or override your settings.

  • Aosu App → Device > Camera Settings > Device Info > Firmware Version

  • Tap Check for Updates for:

    • Each camera

    • The aosubase

5. Power Cycle the System

Sometimes the alarm settings only take effect after a full reboot.

  • Unplug the aosubase, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in.

  • Turn off and restart each camera (via the app or manual power if solar/battery).

If none of the above can solve the problem, please contact our online support on the aosu app.

You can turn off the audio alarm in the settings. In the Aosu app, check the camera’s setting, select auto alarms, add alarm period, make a custom alarm and lightly click the alarm sound to cancel it. That way the camera will still trigger the light alarm, but won’t turn on the audio siren.
