Adjusting Notification Frequency

This section explains how to manage your device’s notifications, whether you are receiving too many or too few alerts.

If You Are Receiving Excessive Alerts (Too Many Notifications):

To reduce the number of unwanted messages, adjust your detection settings and notification preferences:

Lower Detection Sensitivity: Navigate to Settings > Motion Detection > Detection Sensitivity. Decrease this setting based on your home’s environment to prevent false alarms triggered by insignificant events.

Filter Notification Types: Go to Settings > Notification Settings > Notification Mode and select the Smart Notification option. Within the Message Notification Type section, simply turn off any message categories you do not wish to receive.

If You Are Receiving Insufficient Alerts (Too Few Notifications):

To ensure you receive critical alerts, check these settings:

Increase Detection Sensitivity: Access Settings > Motion Detection > Detection Sensitivity. Raise this setting, considering your home’s surroundings, to capture more events and generate additional notifications.

Verify Message Notification Settings: Check Settings > Notification Settings. If you are using the Smart Notification mode, ensure that all available message notification types are enabled to guarantee comprehensive coverage.

Check for ‘Snooze’ Mode: Look at your App’s main screen to confirm the status of the Snooze feature. If it is active, you will not receive any alerts during the specified time window, so you may need to disable it.

Disable Mobile ‘Do Not Disturb’ (DND): Confirm that your mobile phone’s native DND (Do Not Disturb) or equivalent silent mode is turned off, as this will suppress all incoming application alerts.
