Hi,

I am new to Aosulife. Just purchased my video doorbell about a month. I work from home, so for the majority of the day, I’m home by myself and it was causing anxiety for me every time I’d hear something or when someone I didn’t know would come knocking on the front door. So I purchased the Aosu Pro Doorbell, got it all set up, with the zones, video quality, entered in mine and my family’s names + photos etc.

My issue is that I’m receiving MULTIPLE notifications all day long that:

1.Someone is Lingering 2.There’s a person at your door 3.Person Approaching etc.

Every time a vehicle drives by my house. I’m talking up to 20+ notifications in a 5 hr stretch telling me there’s people at my door or appraoching. In the 4 minutes ot has taken me to write this so far, I’ve recived 5 notifications that there are people at my door and they’ve actually just been cars driving by.

I keep reporting that the AI words are wrong, as many times as I can, but it’s actually causing me way more anxiety then when I didn’t have the doorbell at all. To keep seeing “someone is lingering at your door” multiple times an hour, it’s definitely not having the anxiety reducing affects that I was hoping for when I purchased the doorbell.

Is there anything I can be doing to reduce these notifications? Unfortunately the recording zone also shows the sidewalk/road. So changing my zone to record less area isn’t an option.

At this point I’m almost ready to send it back and give up on the doorbell camera option. So any advice/tips would be helpful.

I looked into contacting Aosu directly, but they don’t have a Canadian contact Phone number to call, so it’d be a costly long distance phone call for me and I cannot find an email for support.

Hello, we understand your situation. :handshake:

You can improve the situation you mentioned by adjusting the following two settings:

  1. Adjust the sensitivity. Lowering the sensitivity appropriately will help reduce the recording of invalid events.

  2. Set the detection area. You can find this module in the settings and set the detection range to the area you need to focus on, thus reducing the impact of event detection in other areas.

If the above methods do not provide significant improvement, I highly recommend that you seek online support on the Aosu app. We support online communication, and they will provide you with more professional solutions. Hope this helps. Thank you for your support.
