Imagine this scenario:

You’ve just finished setting up your aosu camera and everything seems to be working fine.
But later, when you check the live view or review recorded events, something feels off…

:thinking_face: The event time doesn’t match your local time.
:alarm_clock: The recording timestamp looks one hour earlier or later.
:confused: You’re sure the camera is online, but the time still doesn’t seem right.

Then you start wondering:

:mobile_phone: “Is this a camera issue, an app issue, or something related to my phone settings?”
In some cases, the answer may be connected to your time zone/location settings — especially if your area is currently using Daylight Saving Time.

Aosu camera time may look incorrect after set up because of improper day light saving time or the phone and the camera may have been set up with different timezones. To fix it, ensure your phone’s time zone matches that of the camera, and hen use the app to toggle daylight saving settings to allow the camera to synch automatically.

The camera’s date/time features are based on the phone used to set it up. Check the Aosu app’s login page to ensure the timezone you selected on the Aosu app matches the timezone on your phone. If you’re in an area that uses daylight savings time, make sure you have it correctly applied.
