I absolutely need a change to the Default View for outdoor cameras. I pan to a view to watch something and just a few seconds later the camera reverts to the default view. This is terrible! The interface needs to allow users to set the “return” time as well as to turn it off so we can watch a different area for an extended time. This should not be a difficult or costly update to make! Thank you.

Currently, when the camera is manually panned to a different position, it will automatically return to the preset default view after a short period of time. This behavior is designed to ensure the camera continues monitoring the main preset area.

Plus one from me I find it frustrating as well especially if you are trying to zoom into something and next thing it’s moved back. Maybe have a setting in the menu to have a selectable time say 15 / 30 / 45 /60 sec etc.

I have to totally agree with the other people. Every time I move the camera where I need it to be to check out a specific area. The camera just jumps back to the default location. I understand the camera needs a specific start point. But I believe the reason the camera moves is to provide security for a larger area. Several times I have been trying to watch something, and the camera moves at the wrong time. I’ve recently bought a couple of cameras that don’t do that, because I need to be able to focus on the spot the security is needed. But I would love to be able to depend on th3se cameras the same way. Thank you
