What should I do when my image is inverse?

A camera image may appear upside down (inverted) in the following situations:

:one: Reversed Installation (Most Common)

  • Mounted on the ceiling
  • Installed under eaves
  • Installed with the camera body upside down

In this case, the entire image will appear inverted.
You can fix it by going to:
Settings → Place Position → Turn ON “Inverse Image.”

:two: Camera Was Adjusted or Moved

  • The viewing angle was manually adjusted
  • The camera was removed and reinstalled
  • It was rotated during cleaning or maintenance

If the physical orientation changes but the image setting remains the same, the screen may appear inverted.

:three: After Factory Reset or Firmware Update

The image direction setting may return to default after:

  • A factory reset
  • Reconnecting the camera to the network
  • (In rare cases) a firmware update

If the default mode does not match the actual installation position, the image may appear upside down.

:four: “Inverse Image” Was Accidentally Enabled or Disabled

If the setting was changed unintentionally, the display may appear reversed.

:magnifying_glass_tilted_right: How to Tell the Difference:

  • Ground appears at the top and sky at the bottom → Image is upside down
  • Text appears reversed left-to-right → This is mirror mode, not inversion

In most cases, simply switching the “Inverse Image” setting will resolve the issue.

Please click Settings- Place Position, to turn off “Inverse image”.

If you installed the camera reversely, please turn on “Inverse image”.
