Wired in floodlight camera sensitivity

I have a floodlight camera. I am up in northern alberta. This camera is very sensitive. Right now alerting on snow fall at night continuously. In the summer it would alert on the wind rustling the atv covers. Yes I can snooze the alarm at night. Which seems counterproductive and annoying. Is there a way to turn down the sensitivity of the camera.. alerting on snow blowing is annoying. It also alerted on a spider this summer. lol

Hello @pamelamarriott,

Most floodlight cameras have adjustable motion sensitivity settings. If you haven’t already, try checking the app that came with your camera, there’s usually a “Motion Sensitivity” slider or a way to set up activity zones so it only alerts you when motion happens in specific areas (like near your door, not the whole yard).

Also, if your camera has AI detection (like person or vehicle detection), enabling that can help it ignore things like snow or rustling covers and can reduce false alerts from bugs or snowflakes reflecting infrared light.

Thank you! Have changed settings see what happens
