Hey, here’s what you should do to fix the connection issue with your Aosu Doorbell Pro:

  1. Make sure your Wi-Fi is on 2.4GHz (the doorbell doesn’t work with 5GHz).
  2. During setup, keep the doorbell close to the router for a stronger signal.
  3. Use a simple Wi-Fi password without special characters.
  4. Give the Aosu app all the necessary permissions (Location, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).
  5. Reset the doorbell properly, hold the reset button until you hear the “ready to connect” prompt.
  6. Turn off any VPN and mobile data on your phone while connecting.
  7. Check your router settings to disable any firewall, MAC filtering, or AP isolation temporarily.
  8. Update the Aosu app to the latest version.
  9. Make sure the QR code is clean and scan it from about 6 inches away.
  10. If all else fails, do a hard factory reset on the doorbell and start the setup again.

Try these steps and let me know if it still doesn’t work.

Additionally, the error prompt you’re receiving is “The WI-FI password you entered contains space, capital letters or special characters. Please make sure it matches the WI-FI password at home to avoid mistyping” which means most likely the problem is either 1. or 3. of my list above.
