Before attempting to connect to the network, make sure the camera has been reset by long‑pressing the SYNC button at the bottom of the device until you hear a beep and the green indicator begins flashing.
Verify that the SSID has been entered with the correct capitalization.
Ensure the Wi‑Fi password has been entered accurately.
Confirm that the router is functioning normally by checking whether your mobile phone can connect to it and access the internet.
Check the distance between the camera and the router. If they are too far apart or separated by obstacles (such as walls), the Wi‑Fi signal may be weak.
Review your router’s Wi‑Fi encryption settings. If it is set to WEP, switch to WPA or WPA2 for better compatibility.
Make sure the router does not have a MAC address whitelist enabled.
Before each network connection, please confirm that the camera has been reset (long-press the SYNC button at the bottom of the camera until a “beep” sounds and the green indicator flashes)
Check whether the SSID is capitalized correctly in the input Wi-Fi information
Check whether the password is correct in the entered Wi-Fi information
Confirm that the router can connect to the network normally (when the mobile phone is connected to the router, it can be used in the network normally)
Check the distance between the camera and the router: if the distance is too far or there are obstacles (such as walls, etc.), the overall Wi-Fi signal may be weak.
Check your router’s Wi-Fi encryption type, if it is WEP mode, it is recommended to change it to WPA or WPA2
Confirm that the router does not have a MAC address whitelist set.
If you’re away from home, there isn’t much you can do if your cameras go offline beyond ensuring your phone has a working network connection and power cycling it. Sometimes I’ve had apps not work/perform poorly until it was given a reset.
