I have two D1 Classic cameras. One died and was recently replaced but the replacement has issues with faster battery drain than the other D1 camera.
During darkness when not on solar Camera 1 will consume around 5-6% overnight with me connecting a couple of times and having a look around. Camera 2 will consume around 20% even if I don’t connect to it. I have observed it use 3% just having a look around. As we head into winter in the UK, Camera 2 is not managing to get back upto 100% charge whereas Camera 1 will usually manage it which means over a period of a week or so Camera 2 needs me to goto site and plug in a portable charger to get it back to 100% which is not ideal as the cameras are a couple of mile from where I live.
Both cameras are configured the same way. I have swapped both cameras around so it’s nothing location based, both are human detection only and neither alert overnight as it’s a remote site. I’ve purchased a usb solar panel due to the limitations positioning of the solar on top of the camera and that has helped with topping up but is still limited when raining etc.
I have also done a factory reset of camera 2. Any further assistance or suggestions appreciated.
Thanks
