Change Wifi

I cannot for the life of me locate the setting that allows me to change the wifi. I do not have a HomeCortex unit. Just individual cameras. Please help. Why are they hiding the wifi setting?

Hello, you can find your device on the aosu app - Settings - Basic Settings - Reconnect WiFi, and then re-match and connect to the new WiFi you have changed.

Hi,

Please look at the video attached below.

Make sure to hold the reset button for several seconds until you hear a sound or see the camera’s LED blinking blue. Only after this reset will you be able to change the Wi-Fi settings. From my experience, you have about five minutes after the reset to complete the Wi-Fi setup, if you take longer, you’ll need to press and hold the reset button again before trying.

All the best,
S.S

Looks like you had a similar problem about a year ago so the following may not be useful. Hope you got your Wi-Fi reset. Just in case you didn’t, and for any more recent victims, here’s what I’ve gathered so far. On my Android phone, the “Reconnect Wi-Fi” option only appears when I power-off (shut-down) my Wi-Fi router. After I select “Reconnect Wi-Fi” on my AOSU app, the RST button on the camera must be physically pressed for 5 seconds, until the camera blue light flashes, then available Wi-Fi networks will be displayed on the AOSU Android app. Select the desired, displayed Wi-Fi network. The AOSU app guides you through this. Suspect this is the process we used when we initially set-up our cameras. This process was OK with cameras out of the box. However, if an installed AOSU camera is not physically accessible (i.e. RST button not available) it looks like the WiFi network cannot be reset. Since my cameras are mounted on the roof of my house, pressing the RST button is not a trivial thing, so I have not yet completed this procedure. I’m regurgitating what the AOSU app provided. Hope that helps someone.
