In some countries, there’s restriction of video recording, for example, you can not record other people’s yard, you can not record other cars and so on. So you can draw a privacy zone and you will find the recorded video shows a black screen of the privacy zone you set.
You can find it in the app, Settings-Privacy Settings
- Auto Streaming and Recording. This is to protect voice privacy, when you turn it on, you can hear sound in live and recorded video, but when you turn it off, there will be no sound in live video nor recorded video.
- Click Privacy Zone, you will enter an interface where you can edit privacy zones, it will turn on live video then you will be able to draw an area as a privacy zone, when it is done, the area you draw will become black, and the device won’t be able to detect or record this area.
