Setting up a Privacy Zone on your Aosu camera is simple. Just open the app and head to Settings → Privacy Settings.

Privacy Zone: Tap Privacy Zone and the live view will pop up. Draw a box over the spot you don’t want recorded—like a neighbour’s window or your garden chair. That area will turn black, and the camera won’t record or detect anything there.

Audio Privacy: You can also adjust sound with Auto Streaming and Recording. Switch it on if you want audio in live and recorded video, or off if you’d rather keep things completely quiet.

To set up a Privacy Zone in the Aosu Camera app, follow these steps:

1. Open the App Settings

Go to Settings > Privacy Settings > Privacy Zone.

2. Enable Live Video for Setup

Once you enter the Privacy Zone interface, the live video feed will turn on. This allows you to select the exact area you want to block.

3. Draw Your Privacy Zone

Use your finger to draw the area you want to designate as private. The selected zone will appear as a blacked-out section on both live and recorded video. The camera will not detect or record activity in this zone.

4. Adjust Audio Privacy (Optional)

Under Auto Streaming and Recording, you can manage audio privacy.

On: Audio is available in both live and recorded video.

Off: No audio will be captured in live or recorded video.

This feature is designed to protect both visual and voice privacy by letting you control what the camera can see and hear.
