My camera will not read the QR code on my phone when syncing to the Homebase?

so sorry to hear this, please try

  1. Clean the Camera Lens
  • Sometimes a simple wipe with a soft cloth can help the camera focus properly.
  1. Adjust Your Screen Brightness
  • Make sure your phone’s brightness is turned all the way up. A dim screen can make the QR code hard to scan.
  1. Hold Steady & Keep Distance
  • Hold your phone about 6–8 inches away from the camera.
  • Move slowly in or out until the camera beeps or blinks, indicating a successful scan.
  1. Avoid Screen Glare
  • Try tilting your phone slightly or shielding it from overhead lighting that might reflect off the screen.
  1. Increase QR Code Size
  • If you’re using a smaller phone or have a protective case, you can try zooming in on the QR code in the app to make it larger.
  1. Check Your App and Firmware
  • Ensure you have the latest version of the AOSU app and your HomeBase is up to date.

Also just to clarify this camera came with the base right ?
