As many, many people have stated before, I am unable to view the events on my Solarcam D1 Lite, because I keep getting the Aosu Protect + Banner and cannot remove it.
If this problem persists, I will be forced to return the camera to Amazon and leave a negative review. We have had the Doorbell Camera for several years without issue, but this camera is a different story. It is useless to us unless we can view the Events without the Advertisement.

Before we dig deeper, could you help confirm a few details so we can rule out other possibilities?
Are you using a camera system that comes with an aosu base station (aosuBase)?
- If yes, connecting to the base station will allow recordings to be stored locally on the aosuBase and viewed normally.
Or are you using a standalone (single) camera?
- In that case, we support both local storage and cloud storage.
- However, please note: you’ll need to insert an SD card for local recording.
*** If no SD card is inserted, recordings can’t be saved locally, which is why you may see cloud subscription prompts.**
Could you let me know:
*** Whether your camera is a standalone model**
*** And whether an SD card is inserted**
If the issue still isn’t clear after this, feel free to share a screenshot of the message/advertisement you’re seeing — I’ll be happy to take a closer look for you 
It’s obvious the protect plus banner is designed to be inconvenient and force users into buying a package. The sad response on here by aosu as if they can’t do anything about it, is shallow and underhanded. If they cared about the customer experience they would switch it off. Someone in Aosu decided to make this banner happen. So much for using these cameras as standalone. Mine will be going in the bin. Thanks for caring and fobbing us off Aosu!
They ARE clearly trying to force subscriptions! I did subscribe for one of my cameras because that one suddenly would not “FIND” my SD card and I was desperate to have that camera working as it hasn’t worked for FOUR months. Also, suddenly my other working SD cards somehow are no longer being “found” in my other cameras and the banners replaced that so now unusable!!! Completely unethical!!! I will be going to the Better Business Bureau among other things!!!
