I have hardwired my Ultra to the existing wiring (16v 10 VAC) and the firmware is up to date. WiFi is over 80% and the doorbell is in a sheltered area. As soon as the temps dip to around -18 Celsius the motion detection seems to stop. I have turned off the auto adjustment and set the motion detection to max. Battery says it is charging and at 100%. I called tech support and they escalated my ticket but no one ever responded. I live in Canada and this is fairly standard weather. Just wondering if a stronger transformer would help or if the unit just can’t handle colder weather. Appreciate any idea’s
I have my Aosu V8P setup same as yours, but it’s on 24v and I haven’t had a detection event since temps dropped down to -20c regularly.
Live video and doorbell notifications/calls seem to work fine.
Not the best design as it’s going to be cold like this for another 2-3 months at least.
