I have 5MP solar cams (solar cam system pro). I have two cameras hooked up with solar panels getting tons of sunlight. One of the cameras just stopped charging one morning. Is this more likely an issue with the panel or camera?
Temps are in the high 80s so it’s not a low temp issue. We did have a storm but these should be able to take that, right?
Any recommendations or things to check?
I have experienced the charging plug coming a bit loose & needed to be reinserted into the camera after a storm with a strong wind.
unfortunatelyy there are no specs on the battery size or specs on the solar panel output. At startup i have the 2 camera sys. Both right out of the box showed 58%. One charged fully within several hours in bright sun light. The other one would not charge past 58%. In fact it started loosing %. On line help had me jumping thru hoops to figure out the issue. They would never admit to the fact of a camera issue or solar panel issue. I brought the camera inside and charged it from the wall. Ever since it’s been ok. That’s been about week. I think sometimes these Lithium batteries need a slight boost
