My new cameras do not start recording quick enough to catch the action. A van across the street was side swiped and my camera only caught the security lights flashing but not the hit.
I want to activate a prerecording or i will trash these cameras.

I would like this as well. Start recording as soon as the motion detection is triggered, but then stop and discard the recording if the AI analysis does not recognize a target of interest.
The current approach of not recording till the AI has found a target makes it possible for someone to approach fast enough that the camera won’t record till they are already on the edge of the frame, not getting a clear view.

Did you ever get a reply? I can walk out my door and get on my truck and by the time the recording starts I’m gone, I just bought these but seems like the motion turns it on but the person is gone if they run I’m in real trouble if I can’t catch me on camera walking

Same thing happens to me!! They start recording late and the C9P21 model that is facing the front street did not caught this guys truck or when he parked in front my house
