PIR stands for Passive Infrared — it’s a sensor that detects the heat from people or animals moving nearby. Our wonderful Aosu smart camera uses a PIR sensor to know when someone’s around, even before they ring the doorbell!

PIR means passive infrared sensor. Meaning that the camera will trigger by changes of the conditions of a normal temperatures.
