One of my solar cameras is not showing any video - active or recorded events. The sad card has lots of space. A 2nd camera in the same location shows both current and recorded events. How can I reactivate the first camera
I’m very sorry you’re experiencing this issue.
As a first step, you could try performing a hard reset on the affected camera and then adding it back to the app. Before doing so, please make sure to back up or save any important data from that camera, as resetting the device may remove its existing data and settings.
If the issue persists, would you be willing to send me the SN (serial number) of the affected camera via private message? I’d be happy to forward it to our technical team so they can investigate further.
Thank you, and we’ll do our best to help get your camera working again.

This camera is not recording nor saving events unless I’m in the account viewing the camera but as soon as I get off the app the camera shuts off
I’ve done the resets, reinstalls, and reconnects even change things in the settings to see if that was it and everything is still the same. Can I get someone to look into this issue
Thank you for providing the exact serial number of the affected device. I’ve submitted the case to our technical team, and they have begun investigating the issue.
I’ll update you here as soon as there is any progress. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
Is there any update for the camera?
I guess we’re on our own
I understand what you’re describing. Just to clarify, when you leave the live view, does the camera actually show as offline/unreachable in the app, or does it remain online but simply stop recording and saving events? (aka you need to manually record events, the automation doesn’t work)
I’m asking because if it remains online, then it may not actually be shutting off or losing its connection. It could instead be an issue with background event recording, power-saving settings, SD card writing, firmware, or possibly the camera itself.
Since you’ve already tried the resets, reinstalling, reconnecting, and changing the settings (such as enabling motion detection and increasing detect sensitivity) l’d also agree the camera needs to be investigated further.
Could you also try one quick test? At night, exit the app completely and then walk in front of the camera. Normally, you should see the blue indicator light activate/blink when the camera detects you, which would indicate that it is detecting the event.
If the blue light does not activate, even though the camera still shows as online in the app and motion detection is enabled then the camera is not recording aka your software is bad or hardware.
If the blue light does activate, it means the recording mechanism is on and works, I would suggest trying another SD card as the next step. If the same issue happens with a known-good SD card, then I would suspect either a software/firmware issue or a hardware fault with the camera itself.
Hope you the best
Once I log off and close out the app the blue light stays on and will even follow me for all of 10 seconds before it shuts off and doesn’t come one again. I bought the subscription to because I thought it was the sd card but it wasn’t that either. i’m at the point now where I’m wondering if there is a warranty if there’s no way to fix it
