You spend good money on these out door cameras and nothing but problems with them one day it doesn’t record anything the next day your climbing up a ladder because it’s not charging where is the support you ask a question and you get a dumd answer they were working fine when I installed them so what is the issue why don’t they charge or record anything

Hi I completely understand your frustration, especially when you spend good money on outdoor cameras and they were working fine initially. From what you described, there seem to be two separate issues: the cameras not recording/detecting properly and the battery not charging.
First, could you please let me know the exact model of the camera? If these are solar cameras, that would also be helpful to know.
For the recording issue, please check the device settings for Detection Sensitivity. If the sensitivity is set too low, the camera may not detect movement consistently. Try increasing the sensitivity and testing it again. I’ll also provide a video showing where this setting can be found. If you have already increased the sensitivity and it still isn’t recording properly, the camera angle and positioning may also be affecting the detection area.
Regarding the charging issue, I have actually experienced something similar with AOSU solar cameras in the past. The hard-plastic mounting bracket that comes with the cameras can make a difference depending on what surface it is attached to. I tested the cameras on different materials, including wood, concrete, plastic/rain guttering, and metal poles.
In my experience, mounting the camera on plastic or metal can sometimes cause excessive heat around the camera. When the temperature gets too high, the camera can stop solar charging as a protection measure for the battery. If this happens repeatedly over time, it can potentially affect the battery or solar charging system, eventually leaving you needing to charge the camera manually through USB-C.
If your camera is currently mounted on metal or plastic, I would recommend trying a different mounting surface if possible. If the camera is already having charging problems, you can also manually charge it through USB-C. I would recommend doing this at night, allowing it to reach a full charge, and then disconnecting the USB-C cable from the power source. This is more convenient than having to climb up and disconnect the cable directly from the camera. A single charge usually lasts a week or longer depending on usage and solar % of functionality
Once you tell me the exact model and what surface the camera is mounted on, I can help narrow down what is actually causing the problem rather than just guessing.
Thank you for responding to my comment the camera is solar powered and is mounting on a brick wall and the model number is c9c3ca11 i figured out the recording issue but still doesn’t change with the solar panel
